Tour Booking Requirements and Procedures

Be aware that to enjoy these trips, you should be in reasonable physical condition and be used to riding for several hours a day. Your comfort and safety is very important to us.

We recommend bringing good warm clothing and rain gear, (both riders and passengers). Even though our trips are in Sunny California, we do get extreme weather conditions at times. Our trips provide a variety of experiences; while we can promise you spectacular views and a memorable trip, the weather and road conditions are not guaranteed. We ride in all conditions, but reserve the right to vary the route from that shown on this website if reports of the local conditions recommend we do so (e.g., major rockslides, dense fog, road closures.)

Before booking, be sure you are able to meet the following requirements:

  • All riders must have a valid motorcycle license and be insurable.
  • All riders must be at least 25 years old.
  • Appropriate riding experience is assumed. An optional motorcycle skills class taught by a Certified Motorcycle Safety coach is available on the first day of each tour. This class is strongly recommended for anyone who has not ridden in several months, or is unfamiliar with California roads.
  • All riders must consistently ride within their own skill and comfort levels.
  • All riders must be comfortable operating a large displacement modern motorcycle.
  • Riders and passengers must wear a DOT approved helmet, protective eyewear gloves and boots.
  • Drugs or alcohol are strictly forbidden while riding.
  • All riders must be comfortable riding in a variety of conditions including rain, winding, narrow roads, various grades, and the possibility of sand, gravel or debris on the road surface.
  • Riders with passengers must have prior experience riding in a variety of conditions with a passenger.

Booking

All prices shown are in US Dollars.

A reservation is made in your name once we receive your complete booking and a $400 per-person deposit. Payment in Full is required 60 days before the start of the tour. Tours are dependent on booking status. All guests will have to sign a Liability Waiver before taking the tour.

Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be followed up in writing either by fax or mail or e-mail. Cancellations received more than 60 days before departure will be refunded less a $200.00 per person cancellation fee.

Between 30 and 60 days before departure, trip cost will be refunded less the $500 per person deposit.

Trips canceled less than 30 days before departure are not refundable. We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance for your peace of mind.
